Guidelines for ship generated wast

Last updated 10/6/2017 9:54 AM
For taking care of all waste that arises in a ship’s normal operation and which needs to be put ashore, CMP offers a “no-special-fee” system. Waste that arises otherwise than as above (for example, in repair work, broken electrical equipment, etc.) is taken care of at cost price.

A waste declaration and order for peripheral services must always be registered no later than 24 hours before ship arrival. In special circumstances, the Port Authority may allow later registration. If canceled less than 24 hours before arrival, any incurred costs are charged (at cost price).

If undeclared waste is found at a quay or waste station, the ship will be debited for waste handling at cost price.
